Humble Beginnings
Adha kick-started her career as a Field Outreach Worker, driving social integration at the grassroots level, laying the foundation for community-led care.
Community Leadership
Adha rose to Program Manager, leading fundraisers for LGBTQIA+, sex workers, and people living with HIV. She operated relief kitchens during the COVID-19 pandemic, advocated for transgender rights across Mumbai, Panvel, and Pune, and established a shelter home.
Academic Excellence
Lakshya graduated from AIIMS Delhi and received the Young Researcher Award. He achieved certifications from UC Berkeley and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, was recognized as a Gender Champion at TISS Mumbai, and selected as a Likho Fellow.
Pioneering Health
Adha and Lakshya met at India's first Transgender Health Clinics. Together, they successfully piloted a model serving over 2,000 transgender clients, recognized by the government as an innovative model.
Global Recognition
Research on LGBTQIA+ discrimination published in Scopus-indexed journals. Lakshya presented at the International AIDS Conference in Montreal.
Entrepreneurship Takes Flight
Queer Rabta Private Limited was founded and Ally Heart launched. Selected for pre-incubation at IIM-Bangalore (NSRCEL Launchpad program).
Scaling New Heights
Secured Trademark. Opened Delhi office. Won 1st Prize at AIIMS AQUSIS Medical Hackathon. Presented at International AIDS Conference in Munich.
Digital Innovation
Signed MoUs with 40+ service providers. Initiated WhatsApp Chatbot MVP. Presented at Start-up Mahakumbh.
